Kiluan Bay Tour 2

Kiluan Bay Tour 2

Dan terjadi lagi..kisah lama yang terulang kembali..

A piece of the title of a famous band’s song, yes this time I am touring again to the same place, hahaha. I still remember when I first came and ate at a local stall. I told the owner of the stall in Kiluan Bay that I would not come back again. Because of what? Because of its unfriendly path. If you say it’s jammed, I think it’s not too jammed when the time comes and goes, both in Lampung and Jakarta.

July 27, WAG sounds after a long vacuum, hehehe. Actually, during the first visit, we discussed the next plan, but the pandemic could not be denied. Until the beginning of 2022, we discussed during lunch at Lotte Shopping Avenue, which was originally planned to be February 2022 but it turned out that it still did not succeed in realizing. I was not too enthusiastic because I already had my own plan for the next few months.

The beginning of the destination to M-Beach which I thought was still OK, the distance was about 45 minutes from the port but what the power suddenly the destination changed. It’s OK, because there are still some places I haven’t visited like Laguna and Shark Tooth. The meeting point is at Icon Walk Cimone and then directly to Merak Port but before that we had dinner first around Cilegon Children’s Park. Approaching the entrance we booked tickets first with the Ferizy application, the method was quite easy, I made the guide here and unlike the first trip where you had to queue when buying tickets, at that time I didn’t see a single motorcycle queue at the location.

Luckily, we immediately got on the boat without having to wait as long as the first trip and the boat was fortunately available with beds, although it was not the same as our first trip. It was time for dawn at Bakauheni Port and went straight to Bandar Lampung. In the morning we had breakfast opposite Bank BCA which turned out to be not too far from the nasi uduk that we had eaten before (after I passed the location).

We arrived at around 10:15 AM local time at Kiluan Bay and for lodging we returned to Home Stay Meli Sarmin (available on Google Maps). Indeed, among the lodging that the locals have offered, I am still interested here, in addition to the low price, the view and the green lawn that is quite large and the existence of a kind of hut on the beach adds to the plus value of this inn.

Gayau Lagoon, a place we visited after lunch. Luckily, the weather was sunny at that time, because if it rains, it will make the climbing path even more slippery, I recommend wearing mountain sandals. About 25 minutes of travel we reached the bathing pool and only about 30 minutes we spent time.

Our second destination is Kelapa Island, unlike my first visit, this time there are no tourists staying and it seems that it is getting less and less maintained, especially for the toilets. The intention was to see the sunset but unfortunately the rain dashed our hopes and made us return to the inn faster.

Oh yes, this time we ordered a meal from lunch to breakfast the next morning. There was something different after dinner this time, we did karaoke until 2 am, hahaha.

After Dawn Lae and I stayed at the inn and other colleagues saw dolphins. Heavy rain in the morning canceled our plans to Gigi Shark so we immediately took the direction home. On the way we had a durian party where it had previously been delayed.

5 minutes before Bakauheni Port, we took a break while ordering food for the ship and buying tickets. His intention was to try Express but unfortunately the tickets had run out. This ship is very different from the previous 3 ships, there are no beds, both in Economy and Executive class which we took by paying an additional fee.

Cloudy weather at 11 p.m. connected us at Merak Port and heavy rain accompanied us to the Daan Mogot area. Alhamdulillah, I was the first to arrive home and not long ago other colleagues also informed the same thing, except for Lae, who informed me when I was already at the office, hehehe.

I admit that this trip was very exciting compared to the previous one because the number of participants increased and it was not too tiring because of the motorbike ehm ehm, hahaha. Wait for our next trip, friends, thank you.

Camping at Kolega Prioritas

Camping at Kolega Prioritas

It turns out that we haven’t camped for more than a year since here. For campers this time, it is also more capital than before, hahaha. Buy flysheets, tarpaulins, mattresses, etc. Initially, we intended to rent as before, but the price was quite expensive, so it was better for us to just buy it.

Ok, this time we camped at the Kolega Prioritas Sentul (KPS). Indeed, we chose a short distance from Jakarta considering that we departed very late, around 2 WIB. I also passed the KPS location before when I came back from camping from here, so in terms of travel it’s not too far.

About 200 meters after passing the Pancakarsa Monument, there was a very severe traffic jam around 5 pm which made us stop for more than 30 minutes and it was only normal after passing the corner of the Harris Hotel. I had a chance to ask the motorcyclist next to me, who turned out to be a native of Sentul. He said that every afternoon on Saturday and Sunday, there is always a traffic jam like this. Oh, no more afternoon after here.

Until around 18.15 and immediately we set up a tent after the administrative process (camper fee Rp. 50,000/person by bringing your own tent). There were quite a lot of visitors at that time and thank God the weather was very friendly until we were in the morning. It was a pity that my two children at that time could not swim because the water column was dirty and the other was not filled. As usual around 11 pm we left the location because of the hot sun which would later make my skin even blacker, sweet black but, hahaha.

The following is my conclusion during the visit:

Excess:

– Good road access for motorbikes and cars from the highway.

– The location is only about 50 meters from the highway.

– There are stalls outside the KPS area and within the KPS area, there is even a café as well.

– The camper area is large and seems to have a different price on each land.

– Clean and free toilets.

– Electricity available (bring your own roller cable).

– Beautiful scenery :)

Deficiency:

– The number of toilets, from the land I occupy and some land below me, it seems that there are only 2 toilets. Near the parking lot there is a toilet as well, but the distance is a bit far. I don’t know the location of the land on the opposite side of me, but there should be a toilet as well.

– Because there are no tall trees, the weather during the day is very hot, it is recommended to arrive at the location around the afternoon.

– Children’s swimming pools cannot be used.

Thanks.

Vacation to Yogyakarta

Vacation to Yogyakarta

Yogyakarta or Jogjakarta? It should be Yogyakarta, because there is a mention of DIY :)

Actually, we (the family) have indeed planned a destination to this city, but the time has not been determined. There are several travel sites that I have looked at, to compare if I go by public or private transport. But in personal experience, my son doesn’t seem to be right if he is invited to take public transportation.

It seems that the dipper welcomes this month, the school holidays have arrived. The date is also correct, June 27, 2022, so indeed after leaving here and returning directly to Bekasi to attend a cousin’s wedding around 19.00 to 21:00, then take a car and rest for a while at home. By preparing everything, finally at around 01.00 we started the journey and arrived at dawn at the KM 379 Rest Area followed by breakfast at the Semarang Solo KM 429 Toll Road Rest Area.

Oh yes, our plan was to spend 4 days and 3 nights and every day we stayed in a different place. I saw recreational places from several tourist sites, from which it turned out that they took places that were close to each other. So here are the results:

Day 1 :

I arrived at the Prambanan area at around 09.30 and went straight to the Opak Homestay where my colleague had been looking for information beforehand. Mas Dandi, the owner, after negotiation, I finally rented at Star Homestay Prambanan, the location is right behind the Prambanan Market, the cost is 500 thousand for 1 night.

The location is strategic, easy to find a place to eat both morning, afternoon and night and quite close to Prambanan Temple. Prambanan Temple was supposed to be the first place I would stop, but for some reason we planned the next day.

Breksi Cliff was on my list of visits and it was about 15 minutes away from the inn and after that continued to Obelix Hills. For Breksi Cliff, it is recommended to arrive at the location in the morning or evening because if it is during the day, the hot sun is very felt. Probably only 2 hours I was here and continued to Obelix Hills.

To be honest, I was a bit hesitant when I went to Obelix Hills considering the road was a bit unfriendly in my opinion (paved but very steep road) I even had time to ask the residents’ houses to confirm the location (at that time suddenly my XL signal was cut off). Indeed, if the distance in Google Maps is only about 15-20 minutes, but maybe 30 minutes I finally arrive at my destination. Taking pictures and having dinner then at around 20.00 I left the location.

It’s quite strange for me, the Obelix Hills exit route turns out to be different from the coming route (my guess was that the route came and came back the same because when we came there was a car in the opposite direction, even though it could be said that the route was really tight). It turns out that the descent lane is faster, maybe about 10 minutes to get back on the highway. My question is, why don’t you enter Obelix Hills just go through the exit route which is closer and safer (not steep), I don’t know why I came from Breksi Cliff to have to go through the path?

I recommend going to Obelix Hills before night to arrive at the location because of the lack of lighting and the steep road.

Day 2 :

Prambanan Temple, I did not buy a direct ticket to Borobodur Temple (25 thousand more savings) because there may be a change in the plan even though Borobodur Temple is indeed included in our plan the next day. Oh yes, because the regular ticket counter was full of queues, finally the officer suggested buying tickets online and could be exchanged for counter 3 which was indeed not in line, but it turned out that when I had bought it, counter 3 was closed and told to queue to the regular counter, apes dah hahaha.

Maybe only 1 and a half hours we were here and continued to the icon of Yogya, Malioboro. Actually, many locations are on the list of visits such as Yogya Square and the Palace, but due to obstacles in the lodging that I have booked earlier. Made us skip the visit and was busy looking for lodging until the afternoon.

Yes, 2 times we entered the Malioboro area, it turned out that it was more difficult to find a car parking lot than lodging. Some of the hotels and homestays that I visited, were indeed beyond my budget and some were cheap but there was no car parking. Hahaha it’s dizzy.

Finally we stayed at Dewi Homestay, even after successfully ensuring that we got a place to park the car, 600 thousand per night. I deliberately looked for the Malioboro area so that I could walk along the area.

Day 3 :

At noon we arrived at Borobodur Temple, unfortunately at that time there was a stupa closure, so we could not go up. When at the exit, there was a Svargabumi Borobudur ticket counter, indeed this was also on my list, finally I bought a ticket and it could be used for the next day’s visit. That night we stayed at Griya Perpil (the previous version of Google Maps was Griya Merpil, I had edited it after I discussed with the owner), the location was right next to Svargabumi Borobudur.

Because indeed I was looking for Svargabumi Borobudur so I thought that place was the entrance and it turned out not to be, but a resident’s house, so we rented it for 400 thousand.

Day 4 :

We were the first people to go to Svargabumi Borobudur because it was only about 2 minutes on foot, hahaha. Morning and evening are indeed recommended times to visit. After 60 minutes of us taking pictures, it was finally time to return to Jakarta.

See you again on our next vacation, thank you.

Gayatri Villa

Gayatri Villa

Work from Villa, that’s what I did on this trip. The event was delayed several times but finally achieved. Villa Gayatri became our destination after surveying several villas in the surrounding location. Of course, swimming pool facilities and good communication signals are our references.

Drizzle accompanied me on the way to the location until I arrived at noon, other colleagues were engrossed in playing ball and swimming, but I was preparing to work until the evening.

Early in the morning we went to Warpat to look for warmth for a moment and the next morning I swam. Drops of rain accompanied our return trip during the day. Here’s a photo of the sacrifice of my cellphone, hahaha.

Few reviews for this villa.

+ large yard

+ nice view

– Combined pool

– poorly maintained buildings

– Kitchen separate from villa

– No water heater

See you on my next vacation. Thanks.

Jakarta – Subang Tour

Jakarta – Subang Tour

We plan this touring in early March 2022 and can only be carried out in May 2022. The intention was to leave at 9 p.m. but as it rained, we finally left at 11 p.m.

We arrived in the Cianjur area around 2 a.m., taking a meal break and while looking for a place to stay. After negotiations, get a price of 150 thousand. The intention was that we walked early so we could tour for a while, but what’s more, around 9 o’clock in the morning we were only able to leave the inn.

Lunch at Saung Pinus and heavy rain fell, finally we kept gaspool to Subang to avoid arriving at night. Thank God, at sunset we arrived at the hotel and in the evening we went around Alun – Alun Subang.

In the morning I stopped by the Eiger store which is about 100 m away from the hotel, buying a pair of sandals to replace the Eiger sandals that I was also wearing at that time (2017-2022). After passing the Pantura route for approximately 4 hours, we arrived home around the afternoon.  Thanks.

Camping at Cibuluh Land

Camping at Cibuluh Land

The intention is to rent a villa and have surveyed Puncak Bogor 2 times until finally finding the “suitable” one before night. Fortunately, the villa has not been in the DP because it is close to the D-day, many have canceled. But the journey must go on, so I looked for a way out and this article appeared.

Yes, we decided to camp in Cibuluh Land in the Sentul area which is not too far from Jakarta, of course it is not odd-even either. I got information from the Facebook group and indeed the CG (camping ground) is included in my list, because it is suitable for bringing children, there is a mini waterfall and a swimming pool to play.

The rain accompanied us when entering the Sentul area, even though it was not too heavy I still gasspooll to the location. Unlike the previous camper, this time I already have my own tent and a team that brings complete kitchen equipment so thank God there is no lack of nutrition wkwkwk.

At night the air was not too cold, I forgot to check the temperature, either because of its position in the forest so that the wind was not too strong even though it was midnight rain knocked on my tent many times. Even during the day, the weather was still cool and it rained again when we were going home.

The following is my conclusion during the visit:

Excess:

– The location is easy to reach and the road access is good.

– Campervan (car side tents) available.

– Lots of toilets, clean and free.

– Prayer rooms are available.

– The camper area is quite large, there is even a glamping rental as well.

– The presence of a waterfall and swimming pool, suitable for children.

– There is a café in the CG area and a stall outside the CG area.

Deficiency:

– Entering the CG area, the road down is quite steep and I think there should be a post/coordination between officers worried when there are cars passing at the same time.

– Scenery, yes because of the position of the CG area in the forest, so there are no other scenes except trees and monkeys.

– If it hadn’t rained heavily when I wanted to go home, maybe I wouldn’t have informed this, because at that time I saw that the river water that was initially clear turned brown and of course would disturb visitors who were swimming in the river (I didn’t have time to take a photo because it was raining heavily at that time).

Once again, thank God I am still given pleasure for this trip, thank you. Oh yes, before visiting it is recommended to  make a reservation first, the price and contact are at the end of the picture. Thanks.
